I am Patrick Wood, an Athletic Performance Coach, Physiotherapist, and Athletic Trainer. I currently work as the Head of Rehabilitation and Conditioning for Norths Devils Rugby League Club in the Queensland Rugby League Hostplus Cup. I decided to pursue a career path in obtaining a combination of strength & conditioning as well as physio/rehab knowledge. This allows me to treat and work with athletes from initial injury all the way back to performance as well as train athletes for athletic performance purposes.
My journey started in the NCAA Division 1 college system where I have experience working with multiple sports such as American football, soccer, track & field, baseball, and more. I have interned with the New Orleans Saints to see sport at the professional level. During my time in Australia, I have worked as Head of Performance and Rehab for teams across sports such as American football, AFL, ruby union, and rugby league.
My highest athletic experience was swimming at the NCAA division 1 level during my time in college and is what fueled me to learn more in the sports performance and sports rehab realm to help other athletes achieve their best.
